Glen Cole, Executive Superintendent over 440 Assemblies of God churches
in Northern California and
Nevada, refuses to judge his brother, thus
falls victim to a scam!
By Gordon Nelson
Gregory Earl Setser, a self-styled former minister and apostle of the faith, whom Glen Cole refused to judge. The scam of the ex-reverend cost members of Cole’s diocese of 440 Assembly of God churches $ millions. It was a get “rich quick scheme” that supposedly doubled your money in a short span of time. If you desire to read the stories that appeared in the Sacramento Bee on the Internet go to www.sacbee.com/content/news/religion/story/7830205p-8770826c.html (Scam cost churches, parishioners $160 million, officials say – 11/22/03) and www.sacbee.com/content/news/religion/story/7953733p-8890895c.html (Alleged scam stuns its victims – 12/14/03)
Cole’s own son, Rick Cole, who presently pastors Capitol Christian Center, refused to endorse the backslidden ex-preacher’s scam. Thanks to Pastor Rick Cole, his church was protected from the scam artist’s scheme of Gregory Earl Setser of San Bernardino County. “Our church,” says Cole, Jr., “turned down a pitch of IPICO two years ago.” Sacramento Bee
Strangely, this same Glen Cole, who could not pass judgment of Gregory Earl Setser, was critical of my judgment of Dr. Bebe Patten and her deceased husband Carl Thomas Patten, who died suddenly after being released from prison.
In his letter directed to my publication, The RiverBank News, Rev. Glen D.
Cole states, “It is encouraging to me that God will be the judge of all these
mentioned in your incriminating booklet.”

Dear Friends:
I received a mailer from your organization today with an article by Gordon F. Nelson. The Assemblies of God was taken to task therein and I feel it important that you know the facts. Since I am an Executive Presbyter in the fellowship, I believe I can give you first hand what you” thought you knew”.
First of all, it is always amazing to me how many religious organizations are so good at explaining the errors of others while missing a world that needs Christ. If you want to publish material, do so in a manner that will exalt our Lord, Who is the Head of the Church, and endeavor to impress people with His love, manifest through His people. Someone told me long ago, “We need to fight our common enemy, not each other!” I believe that is good advise.
It is also encouraging to me that God will be the Judge of all those mentioned in your incriminating booklet, many of whom have led more to Christ than you or I will probably ever do.
You made the statement on page 11 that “Benny Hinn’s ordination in the Assemblies of God, will be considered May, 1995. If accepted, he will be the main speaker at the next general council of the Assemblies of God in Springfield, Missouri.” Several errors here: He was accepted after long interviews on doctrine, etc., last fall. He has not been invited to speak at the General Council, which, by the way, will convene in St. Louis, Missouri. There is no “main speaker,” since there is a list of individuals that are asked to bring a message from the Lord to the delegates and visitors. He is not on that list.
When you speak of “more scandals…coming”, it is almost as if that is with a sense of joy. Different than a real prophetic tone. Time will tell, won’t it. May God keep us all pure by His grace and power so the world will truly know that we are “His disciples”.
I have been in the organization for over forty years and have learned, as well as taught, the meaning of the word “elder” as presented in the New Testament. There has never been a question as to what that term implies. Your comment about Dr. Cecil J. Lowery is another example of misapplication and divisive potential. Remember the seven deadly sins of Proverbs.
I can tell you for certain that the cry of our leadership is for revival that will shake this nation, and the world. As Jesus is lifted up, He will draw men to Himself. Let’s be about that great possibility. The Holy Spirit is capable of protecting the faith. Our feeble efforts, as well intentioned as they may be, are but another example of “flesh” seeking to do the work of the “Spirit”.
May God’s peace and wisdom be yours.
Most sincerely,

Editor’s Response
(Printed in the February 1995
issue of The RiverBank News)
To Pastor Glen D.
Cole:
I
would first off wish to thank you for your letter addressed to The RiverBank News. I understand fully your motives are
completely altruistic, having our best interests at heart. In the area of
communication, and believing our sources are authentic, we can be dead wrong!
Your letter really should have been directed to Paul Young, executive vice
president of the Christian Research Institute. I quoted, verbatim, the report
C.R.I. gave on a national radio broadcast across America. I am not alone in
feeling that Paul Young wouldn’t intentionally tell a lie about Benny Hinn’s
ordination. My source was in error! For that I ask your apology and
forgiveness.
A couple of years
ago, over your own radio broadcast, you incorrectly quoted from what you too
thought was a reliable source. Your source caused you to say over the radio
that Hal Lindsay said that “Gorbechev was the Antichrist.” I only quote this
instance to show how human the best of us are when we totally rely on a
“reliable source” for authenticity. Now, I know you too well to even doubt for
one moment that your motive wasn’t pure in attempting to correct Hal Lindsay.
Of course, I phoned Hal immediately and he was shocked to learn of your
statement.
Elders
(plural) collectively lead the sheep. “There is no instance in the early church
of a single elder.” C.I. Scofield. It is to this “Brotherhood of Elders” (1
Peter 2:17) the sheep submit as unto the Lord in a local assembly.
Your
church has “government,” so my qualm is not with you. Sacramento is blessed to
have a “Mega Church” that is not owned by the preacher. I have been in this one
religion, Pentecostalism, for 53 years. One does not have to have a gift of
prophecy, or ability to prophesy in a “prophetic tone” to forecast what “greed
and power” does to one man who sets himself up as a “lord over God’s heritage.”
“Pride goeth before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.” Prov.
16:18.
You
haven’t walked where I have walked! Do you think it is with a sense of joy when
I have to relate how Betty Burk, the 15 year old president of my faith class
was raped by C. Thomas Patten? A beautiful 17 year old, Carol Rydon, had to be
deported to Seattle to have her baby because of Dr. Bebe H. Patten’s husband. I
was there to see her leave school.
Like
Jerry Falwell said, “A scandal in my church like that of Jimmy Swaggart could
never hit the newspapers. The board would have me on the carpet and I would be
out the door.” The newspapers would be a day late and a dollar short on their
story.
In
Pentecostalism, where a preacher like Robert Tilton owns millions of dollars of
realty, only the courts can bring him down. This is true of no other religion
but Pentecostalism that seems to operate so completely on emotionalism. These
“Holy Rollers” are as guilty as the preacher, for the scripture teaches us to
be wise stewards and to be diligent in business.. No other religion would
knowingly give their money to a “family-owned religious non-profit
organization.” If you have some
profound wisdom, gleaned over your 40 years with the Assemblies of God, on how
one can curtail these charlatans of religion—I’m all ears!
Frederick
K.C. Price’s salary is $1 million a year. You’ve been pasturing four times as
long as Frederick Price, and I doubt your salary comes anywhere near his. Why?
You have government—he doesn’t.
If
my little mailer upsets folks, it’s only proof why the church needs the
Antichrist. She will never be perfected in the abundant life, prosperity,
positive thinking and success preaching of this hour as evidenced by the Hour
of Power which has “trickled down” and infiltrated all our churches.
As
we approach a day of darkness, persecution of the church will create strange
bedfellows.
Honoring
you as an elder with sound judgment,
Gordon
F. Nelson
Watchman
of the Coming Night
P.S. On the “seven deadly sins,” I discovered the
most deceptive on the list is pride. We think we are serving God, as “lords,”
“hirelings” and “little gods,” when in reality we are serving ourselves. Only a
return to “Biblical Eldership” (the Greek presbyterous), thus the creation of a
true “Brotherhood,” could pride be dealt a severe blow.
The Bible says, “For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged (by the world).” (1 Cor. 11:31) I’m tired of Dianne Sawyer of ABC having to judge Pentecostal faith healers. Now you, Rev. Glen D. Cole, are being judged by the world, the Sacramento Bee.
The great Apostle Paul repudiates the Corinthian church for its refusal to judge. “It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father’s wife.” (1 Cor. 5:1) When “tongue talkers” sin, they go whole hog and commit such sins, “as is not so much as named among the (heathen) Gentiles.” Even the ungodly have lines they will not cross, like “sleeping with his father’s wife.” His mother perhaps was dead, and his father married a younger woman. Perhaps, this son was an elder or deacon in the church.
Apostle Paul condemned the Corinthians because they had learned how to accommodate this sin of one of their elders. Is the church today going to be as complacent with homosexuality? Are we being conditioned to accept the inevitable? Just don’t rock the boat attitude—this is love!
But Paul never called compromise love, but rather rebuked the Corinthians, “And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned (and fasted), that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.” (1 Cor. 5:2) What did Paul mean BY “MIGHT BE TAKEN AWAY FROM AMONG YOU”? The answer—kick him out of the church! “To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh,” (1 Cor. 5:5) that he might acknowledge his sin. “Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?” (1 Cor. 5:6)
If you leave just one rotten apple in a bushel of apples, soon all the apples will be rotten! The Assemblies of God organization has grown accustomed to covering up on a whole lot of rotten apples. Dr. Cecil J. Lowery, deceased pastor of Oakland Revival Tabernacle in Oakland, California, was one of its core rotten apples, being a real live Jew-baiter.
The Rev. Glen D. Cole says in his letter, “Your comment about Dr. Cecil
J. Lowery is another example of misapplication and divisive potential. Remember
the seven deadly sins of Proverbs.”
God gave me a dream after leaving the Patten's and I attended Dr. Lowery’s Tabernacle in Oakland. O.L. Jaggers was conducting a 19-week revival. He told us on opening night that 3,000 souls would be saved by the close of the revival. We’d all count them every night. It was one of the greatest revivals of the demonstration of God’s power I had ever had the privilege to witness.
As this revival was coming to a close, God gave me a very strange dream. In this dream were two whirlpools. Each whirlpool represented a church. All I saw were the heads of the people going round and round, moving in a swift circular direction.
This first whirlpool represented the church of Dr. Bebe H. Patten and her business manager-husband, C. (for Cash) Tom Patten from Lyles, Tennessee. In this initial whirlpool I could hear the voices from the heads repeating such phases as their heads followed the current around and around, “Dr. Bebe Patten is the greatest preacher in America!” Another head would say, “Dr. Bebe Patten is the only one that really cares about souls.” Dr. Bebe this, and Dr. Bebe that! All praises to Dr. Bebe!
It was at this point in my dream I heard God tell me, “I got you out of this whirlpool, but if you step into this other whirlpool, you are never coming out!” I knew in my dream the other whirlpool was that of Dr. Cecil J. Lowery’s Oakland Revival Tabernacle. I was permitted to observe these two churches as God saw them. They were exactly alike; there was no difference! Two whirlpools moving in a circular fashion with only heads praising the works of their perspective leaders, the water enveloping their entire body, except for the visible heads with mouths uttering this blasphemy, or praises to man.
In my dream I stepped into this forbidden current of water. At first it was only ankle deep, and moved at a slow pace. As the water depth increased, so the speed of the current increased. Finally, I too was a victim of this whirlpool with only my head extolling the works of Dr. Cecil J. Lowery, saying, “Dr. Lowery is the only one that cares about souls! Dr. Lowery is the greatest!” I was conscious of the fact I had disobeyed God in my dream by stepping into this second whirlpool. I was forever lost!
As my dream was coming to a close, I was struck with the desire in my heart to again see these two churches as they were in God’s sight. But I knew I was being denied because now I was blind, extolling only the works of Dr. Cecil J. Lowery!
End of dream, and end of Evangelist O.L Jaggers revival.
This dream really had an impact on my life. I reasoned, “If this dream is truly from God, then the pastor, Cecil J. and his tambourine-banging wife, Rose, own their own church. I went to visit the Secretary of the State’s Articles of Incorporation office. I obtained photocopies of the Articles of Incorporation and would you believe it, Oakland Revival Tabernacle, Inc.’s only members were as follows: Dr. Cecil J. Lowery, President; Rose Lowery, Vice President; and A.P Krantz, Secretary-Treasurer. Any three people can be granted a non-profit incorporation status by the state, and they are in business, answerable only to the IRS.
The Patten Bible Institute and Foundation Incorporation was in the names
of: Dr. Bebe H. Patten, President; Carl Thomas Patten, Vice President; and Mary
Martha Hawley, Secretary-Treasurer.
Of course, these findings are meaningless to the mindset of the Assemblies of God Executive Superintendent of the Northern California and Nevada, Glen D. Cole. Just how do you think Pentecostal preachers have the audacity to declare they are “little gods,” if they were not already “lords”? “Little gods” or “lords” are both blasphemous in the sight of God. “Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.” (1 Pet. 5:3)
It is not “being ensamples” when you drop dead in a ditch that is the footing for a concrete pour in the morning for an apartment house, as did Dr. Lowery. I personally talked to the woman next door who had thrown a blanket over his dead body, lying in the ditch. “His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark…Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter. Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant.” (Isa. 56:10-12)
You’d think the main purpose of an organized body of believers would be to protect the sheep from the “greedy dogs.” But according to Rev. Glen Cole the church has to wait until the Great While Throne Judgment. “It is also encouraging to me,” says Glen Cole, “that God will be the Judge.”
It wasn’t encouraging to the Apostle Paul: “Deliver him unto Satan, NOW!” (1 Cor. 5:5) “For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? (without the church, the backsliders and sinners) do not YE JUDGE THEM THAT ARE WITHIN (the church)? But them that are without (in the world) God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.” (1 Cor. 5:12-13)
“Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?” (1 Cor. 6:1) Jesus confirmed Paul’s belief that the church ought to have a board of elders whom the laity could come before to settle issues of strife between Christians. It is sin to go to the heathen courts to sue one’s brother. Read Matthew 18:15-19, speaking of church government. “And if he shall neglect to hear them (the witnesses), tell it unto the church (the board of elders).” (Matt. 18:17)
“Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? (probably during the millennial reign with Christ on the earth) and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?” (1 Cor. 6:2)
As we read these scriptures and compare the content with the letter Glen Cole wrote The RiverBank News, one is made to wonder if we are reading from the same Bible. The Bible says, “Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?” (1 Cor. 6:3) “But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.” (1 Cor. 2:15-16)
Jesus Christ took a Roman cat-of-nine-tails and scourged the backs of the hypocrites in the temple, crying out, “My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.” (Matt. 21:13) Jesus was administering justice by His whip!
Then read the entire 23rd chapter of Matthew. This entire chapter pictures Jesus Christ railing upon the scribes, Pharisees and hypocrites completely degrading them by His name-calling. “Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?” (Matt. 23:33) “Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity (lawlessness).” (Matt. 23:28)
In the Pentecostal religion, nothing ever changes; only the faces. The same problems persist in the religion of the tongue talkers who forever seek a sign. This comes in spite of Christ’s warning, “An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: for as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.” (Matt. 12:39-40)
The only sign Evangelist Billy Graham calls to your attention is the empty tomb and the resurrection of Jesus. Do you require more than that to believe?
I’m reiterating when I say I’m tired of Dianne Sawyer of ABC having to investigate our Pentecostal preachers and call them liars by proving their hypocrisy on national television. Evangelist Larry Jenkins was arrested and sent to jail. While in jail, Evangelist Leroy Jenkins could watch himself on re-runs over public television praying for the sick. What a world!
Ezekiel says, “and the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say thou unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing! O Israel, thy prophets are like the foxes in the deserts.” (Ezk. 13:1-4) Apparently, Glen Cole has run into a foxy fox in Gregory Earl Setser!
“The Sermon on
the Mount is pure law,” according to Dr. C.I. Scofield. “The Sermon on the
Mount has a twofold application: (1) literally to the kingdom. In this sense it
gives the DIVINE CONSTITUTION for the righteous government of the earth.”
(during the millennium) Footnote on page 1000
The First Scofield Study Bible
“Judge not, that ye be not judged.” (Matt. 7:1) This scripture stands alone! “No prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.” (2 Pet. 1:20) Had Jesus set up an earthly kingdom, the Sermon on the Mount would be the constitution. It will be someday during the millennial reign of Christ.
The church establishes doctrine from the teachings of Paul’s epistles, not from one “sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” (Matt. 15:24), whom Apostle Paul calls “a minister of the circumcision.” (Rom. 15:8)
There is no doubt in my mind that if one’s mentality
is legalism, one should never judge. Jesus was condemning those who were caught
under the ceremonial law and were incapable of any “righteous judgment.” “Judge
not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.” (Jn. 7:24)
Jesus said, “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites…Ye blind
guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.” (Matt. 23:23-24) The
leaders were blind, and thus incapable of any “righteous judgment.” It is to
these Christ admonished, “Judge not!” (Matt. 7:1)
“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached
in all the world FOR A WITNESS…and then shall the end come.” (Matt. 24:14) What is the witness? Laodicea! The
church has gone full circle.
This is THE WITNESS. The church is returning to the bondage of Rome by following human leaders. To prevent what is happening to the church right now is the reason Jesus sent them out two by two (Mk. 6:7), and was endorsed by Paul and Barnabus over John Mark (Acts 15:38-40). Man, left to himself, will return to “diocese worship” with a bishop over their souls. Today, you’ll enjoy more liberty in a Roman diocese than a diocese of Kenneth Copeland or a Paula White. All roads lead back to Rome! Paula White’s “three-name incorporation” is named “Without Walls.” Coincidently, Catholic means “universal,” therefore it is also “without walls.” Children come home; it is suppertime; the Pope’s invitation to return home!
Jimmy Swaggart built a formidable diocese the Assemblies of God was powerless to destroy. He was a “lord”, not a hireling.
The Assemblies of God was never designed to handle these 20th century “lords over God’s heritage.” (1 Pet. 5:3) Oral Roberts’ ministry gave birth to these giants. Copeland, Hagin, Jesse Duplantis, Jan and Paul Crouch, Jim and Tammy Bakker soon followed. Benny Hinn, who came into the organization as a lord, is the only new element added to this maze of Pentecostalism.
The escalating of Oral Roberts turned the Assemblies of God into a boot
camp to train aspiring “lords.” They learn the art of preaching as a hireling,
but shed it all to create their own promised land.
Gen. 6:4 says, “There were giants in the earth in those days.” “As it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.” (Lk. 17:26) These ministries are the giants that only a David, a Joshua or a Caleb are equipped to handle; certainly not the Assemblies of God.
These giants are a type
of the wolf of John 10:12. “But
he that is an hireling…seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and
fleeth.” The hireling is
scared to death of the wolf. His Bible School training never had a course on
wolves. Apostle Paul knew all about them, for in addressing “the elders” of
Ephesus he told them, “Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the
flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers (plural –
never a one-man operation), to feed the church of God, which he hath
purchased with his own blood. For I know this, that after my departing shall
grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own
selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things (like “I am a little
god.”), to draw away disciples after them.´(Acts 20:28-30)
The “thief” of John 10”10 is a wolf who came in “but for to steal,
and to kill, and to destroy.” It is amazing how the church blames the devil
for so many things, while the preacher owns you, lock, stock and barrel, and
the collection plate. God never intended the church to be safe in the hands of
ONE pastor, but in a body of elders. “Let the elders that rule...” (1
Tim. 5:17), not the people, not the preacher and not some organization. The
church is an organism establishing its own autonomy of government.
Do you, as a Protestant, know that there is only one church we are commanded to stay out of? “And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plaques.” (Rev. 18:4)
“Now ALL these things were our examples (warning), to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.” (1 Cor. 10:6)
Glen Cole lost $111,000 of his own money in the scam. The Executive
Superintendent believed that in six months time he would reap the hundredfold
increase. At least our brother Cole put his own faith where his mouth was. He
did not ask you to do something he did not believe in.
“Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples (warning): and they are written for our admonition, UPON WHOM THE ENDS OF THE WORLD ARE COME. Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.” (1 Cor. 10:11-12) What is the Apostle saying? We will witness before our eyes another full circle. This is really a SIGN and a WITNESS that the “ends of the world are come.”
The church has reverted back to being a type of Israel in the
wilderness, and this is what Laodicea is. The word “Laodicea” is two words in
the Greek; “laos” meaning people, and “dike” which means justice, or “justice
of the people,” or “people rule.” A “people rule” society is referred to as a
democracy.
The Azusa Street revival in the Old Glory Barn in Los Angeles was a black man’s revival led by William Seymour. Brother Seymour came from Topeka Kansas Bible School. Because he was black, he had to stand in the hallways to learn about how God was visiting His people through a rare manifestation of speaking in other tongues.
White folks came to the Old Glory Barn on Azusa Street in Los Angeles. After a few years, the white folks decided they wanted their own church. This idea gave birth to the Assembly of God. However, in framing this new organization they made one mistake that would prove fatal, laying the roots for a tree to grow. The tree comes into full fruition as we approach “the ends of the world.” The name of that tree is Laodicea.
The founders of the Assemblies of God overlooked a clear warning relative to government given by our Lord. “The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them (the people); and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors (to save you, rescue). But ye shall not be so!” (Lk. 22:25-26) No church can save you; only Jesus can! But many folks attribute their salvation to the Assemblies of God, as any Catholic does to Catholicism.
I married into a hotbed of Assembly of Godites! I have one brother-in-law who is an ordained Assembly of God preacher.
Daystar Television, TBN and the prosperity evangelists so flood the airwaves that today one can’t easily define anyone! They are preaching what used to be locked in Mary Baker Eddy’s Christian Science as a cult. The Pandora’s Box was opened and released by the publishing of one book called, “Positive Thinking” by the deceased Norman Vincent Peale. Today, the multitudes are more concerned about their power of positive thinking in speaking unto a mountain, “Be thou removed,” (Mk. 11:23) than in who counts the offering, or whether there is government in the church, or care for the fatherless, widows, and strangers, including the Levite who are provided for by tithes of thy increase. (Deu. 14:27-28) What a joy it would be to tithe if you knew this was what it was all about.
We are called by God to seek truth until we find it. One thing that is for sure, the Assemblies of God organization has not found it. The apostle Jude instructs us, “Ye should earnestly contend for THE FAITH which was once delivered unto the saints.” Jude 3) The sad thing is that whenever we think we have arrived, we no longer contend, which is true of every organization since the days of Martin Luther. Tongue talking is a sign of being spiritual Israel.
I have one
final question to ask you as we close out this Glen Cole exegesis. Who are
these Jews mentioned in the Philadelphia church, the Gentile bride of Christ? “Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of
Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie.” (Rev. 3:9)
Tongue talking is to the church what
circumcision is to the Jews. “For it had been better for them not to have
known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from
the holy commandment delivered unto them.” (2 Pet. 2:21)
If you’ll recall the movie, “Born Free,” the
final evidence that this female lioness raised in captivity could survive, was
to engage in violence with another lioness. The prize from this catfight was
the beautiful male lion who looked on. I never forget this male lion, a type of
the Lion of the tribe of Judah, watching the fight. Is Jesus looking over the
balcony right now looking for the bride to take on the whore of Babylon? Don’t
ever fight with a virgin; she’ll scratch your eyes out! “And from the days
of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the
violent take it by force.” (Matt. 11:12) Do you think Christ is waiting for
us to become more violent toward the great whore who “upon her forehead was
a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND
ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the
saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I
wondered with great admiration.” (Rev. 17:5-6)
The Assemblies of God, Pat Robertson, and a
host of other TBN stars, have already endorsed a document called, “Evangelicals
& Catholics Together: The Christian Mission in the Third Millennium.” (You
can find a copy of this document on our website at www.shipofzion.com, Documentaries)
We are calling for peace in an area where there can be no peace. We are seeing
before our eyes the creation of great dioceses. I was there as a witness to the
building of LaBebe’s diocese in Oakland. I watched the Jew baiter, Dr. Cecil J.
Lowery build his own diocese where he was a “little pope” in his own kingdom.
By the Assemblies of God signing the above
document, she is admitting to being one of the harlot’s daughters. “Come out
of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive
not of her plagues.” (Rev. 18:4)
